Endodontics is the field of dentistry treating the interior of the tooth. Sometimes also referred to as the ‘dental pulp’, it can become infected as a result of untreated tooth decay and other issues. This in turn can produce sensitivity and pain in the patient, sometimes leading to abscesses, loose teeth, and the need for extraction. With endodontic treatment, we hope to avoid and prevent these issues and protect and preserve the natural tooth wherever possible.

Endodontic treatment covers root canal treatments, re-root canal treatments, and other treatments such as apicoectomies. As with all our treatments here, we’ll make sure to thoroughly go through and discuss all your options at a consultation and make sure you’re happy and confident at every stage of your treatment journey.
